A Swimming Club in North East Victoria is seeking a volunteer Treasurer who is able to commit to 9 hours per month in this role. The Treasurer is the chief financial management officer for the club and is directly responsible to the President and members of the Swimming Club.
Ideally the Treasurer has basic bookkeeping practices and will ensure that accurate accounting records are kept which correctly show the financial transactions, performance and position of the Club; has access to and is proficient in the use of email, spreadsheet and word processing software, and is proficient in the use of Internet Banking. The Treasurer is appointed until the next AGM. A position description is available.
Time Required: 9 hours p/month
Skills Required: Experience with bookkeeping, computers and internet banking.
National Police Check and Working With Children Check required.
